Children’s Blessing – August 15, 2015
Young men and boys,
Deuteronomy 34:9
Now Joshua the son of Nun was filled with the spirit of wisdom, for Moses had laid his hands on him; and the sons of Israel listened to him
Joshua 1:1 The Lord spoke to Joshua
1:5-6 No man will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. Just as I have been will Moses, I will be with you; I will not fail you or forsake you. Be strong and courageous, for you shall give this people possession of the land which I swore to their fathers to give them.
1:9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
Heavenly Father, through the covenant we have with Jesus, your Messiah, the son of the living God, we ask you to bless them with the same Holy spirit of wisdom that led Joshua, to bring your chosen people into the promised land. Our blessing prayer is that these young men/boys will rise up, in this generation, to lead as well. We pray that they will be strong and courageous and know that You will never leave or abandon them. Your perfect love will overcome their fears. As Your Spirit is in them, they always have freedom. In the name of Jesus we bless them with this source of life and truth. Amen

Young ladies and girls,
Be blessed this week with faith, hope and love.
In Faith- Whatever you face this week, we bless you with the gift of faith in Jesus. Your faith will start like the size of a mustard seed and grow, enabling you to do great things for Him. Be blessed with faith.
For hope we say…..“When we remember this one thing hope returns: The Lord’s unfailing love and mercy still continue(no matter what is going on), The Lord is all we have, and so we put hope in Him.” Be blessed with hope(Lamentations 3:21-24 GNT)
Most of all we bless you to experience the love He has for you. His love never fails, never gives up on you, and never runs out on you. His love: protects you, is patient with you and is kind. His love forgives you is gracious and full of mercy to you. His love: endures forever, is worthy of your trust, is your strength in times of struggles. His love is in the humble form of your Savior and King, Jesus Christ. Be blessed in His love for you.
